León Cathedral
The "Pulchra Leonina": a Gothic masterpiece of stone and light with one of Europe's largest collections of medieval stained glass.
León’s Cathedral of Santa María was built mainly in the 13th century and is one of Spain’s great Gothic jewels. It is best known for its stained-glass windows, which filter a different light at every hour of the day and earned it the nickname “Pulchra Leonina”.
